HB Racing E817T 1/8th electric truggy kit

Available very soon is HB Racing’s new E817T electric 1/8th truggy kit. Using the race-proven features of HB Racing’s 817 platform, the electric truck is built around a tough, black anodised 7075 aircraft aluminium chassis with a symmetrical design that gives better balance for consistent jumping and cornering, all while being strategically machined to reduce weight and balance the flex characteristics. Dual clamp aluminium motor mounts hold the motor in place and the new battery mounting system is mounted directly on the chassis for the lowest CG possible.

Like its D817T nitro sibling, the E817T is built for toughness with a race-proven 4WD drive system that uses high strength steel centre drive shafts, durable sintered diff gears, precision machined steel input gears and spur gear, machined aluminium wheel hubs, and fully rebuildable high efficiency CVA drive shafts. To soak up bumps big bore threaded coilover shock absorbers are standard equipment, along with front and rear carbon graphite shock towers, adjustable turnbuckles, front and rear sway bars, hinge pin inserts for easy toe and anti-squat settings, machined aluminium caster blocks, aluminium steering blocks, and aluminium rear uprights with improved geometry. Updated truggy suspension arms feature a harder material for more consistent handling.

The steering system on the E817T is built for durability and easy adjustment. It features an aluminium servo saver arm and clamping servo saver adjustment nut, steel turnbuckles, aluminium drag link, highly adjustable Ackermann geometry using steering knuckle plates, and CNC machined aluminium steering blocks that are fitted with carbon fibre steering arms. The kit is rounded out by a genuine Pro-Line Enforcer body shell and a Pro-Line Trifecta rear wing.
