Pro-Line introduce new carpet & indoor buggy tyres

Pro-Line Racing have introduced their new Prism 4WD front carpet, Pyramid astro turf rear and Inversion indoor rear tyres for 1/10th scale off-road buggies. Starting with the uniquely looking Prism 2.2″ front buggy tyre, it features tons of ultra-sSharp Prism shaped pins in the middle of the tyre combined with wedge style pins on the outside for massive forward grip without the edgy feel of pin tyres. The pins on the Prism are slightly smaller than the original Pin Point tyre but there are many more of them, which results in faster and more consistent lap times. The Prism pins have been positioned with the knife edge pointed front to back and side to side for maximum grip and to stay sharp even as they wear down.

Also new are the Pyramid Buggy rear tyres. Specially aimed at astro turf racing the tread features hundreds of large pyramid shaped pins with the knife edge pointed front to back and side to side for maximum grip that stay sharp even as they wear down. The carcass shape has been optimised for the demands of astro racing, which is slightly smaller and narrow than standard dirt tyres for improved agility. Both the Prism and Pyramid come in soft Z4 and medium Z3 compounds for both cold and hot weather conditions.

Last but not least comes the Inversion buggy tear tyre. Essentially an inverted Positron tread design that has been developed for tracks where ghost pins or almost slicks are ideal. The tread features directional grooves much deeper than the Prime tyres combined with a rough textured tread surface for additional traction and side bite even in dusty conditions. New to the Inversion tyre, that is available in M4 super soft and MC clay compound, is a wider and flatter tyre profile for an improved contact patch over previous tyres.
