STRC 4Tec 2.0 shock options & steel solid axle

Coming from ST Racing Concepts are new shock option parts and a steel solid axle for the Traxxas 4Tec 2.0 on-road car. Starting with the upgrades for the shocks, the numerous parts allow to use the existing shock internal components and quickly change the shock package to the same level as high performance on-road touring cars. First are the threaded shock bodies with aluminium lower caps and O-ring installed shock collar. Aluminium shock bodies provide a much smoother shock action by reducing the friction between the shock piston and the inside of the shock bodies, while the threaded shock collars provide a much more precise increments of shock pre-load for the desire suspension feel and ride height.

Next are CNC machined aluminium shock caps that feature alloy shock bushings. These shock caps are more durable than plastic and less likely to strip off the shock bodies during a bad crash. The machined grips on the shock caps make it easy to handle during installation. Finally, the new lower shock spring retainers fit more snugly in place over the lower shock mount and is less likely to pop off during a crash and with the light weight holes drilled it weighs no more than the plastic retainers. The alloy parts are available in a range of colours including red, blue, and gun metal. Also available is a hardened steel solid axle for either the front or the rear diff of the Traxxas 4Tec 2.0. It helps to turn the car into a drift machine by installing the solid axle in the rear diff or it can greatly increase the performance of the cars exiting the corner on a road course by installing it in the front diff.
