Xray Racing Series Poland R3 – Report
For round 3 the PLMS RC & Xray Racing Series Poland the participants traveled to the town of Ścinawka Średnia. The event was held in several electric on-road classes and the fastest category, Touring Modified, was a dominated by Jakub Różycki, who was chased by Martin Korinek, Jarosław Siwek and Jakub Michalski. After some entertaining A-mains it was Jakub Różycki with the day’s win from Jarek Siwek and Jakub Michalski.

The closest fights for the podium were seen in the Stock class. Czech driver Simon Horak made a clean sweep, however behind him Mariusz Zachacz, Bruno Zachacz and Marek Kusiakiewicz battled it out for the remaining two podium spots. In the first leg, Mariusz was just over 1 second fastest than Marek and in A2 there was a close fight between the afforementioned trio until lap 21. Marek was second, but unglued tyres did not allow him to drive properly and he lost out to Mariusz and Bruno. The last final run was a fight under Simon’s dictation. Marek came 2nd, which gave him a 3rd place overall as Mariusz came in 2nd.

What goes around comes around, and so Simon Horak also won the Formula class. Mariusz Zachacz, Tomasz Szymański and Marek Kusiakiewicz battled it out for P2 and P3 and in the second and the third final Marek had a good start, but he had to give up, because of electrical issues. Ultimately Tomasz won the fight for the 2nd place, leaving Mariusz in 3rd.

In the Hobby class, attracting only two drivers, it was Krystian Zienkiewicz with the win from Frank Zachacz 2nd. The E-14 Rally class was won by a dominating Jakub Michalski won, from Ireneusz Działkowski and Mateusz Tutaj.
