VRP MBX8 torsional carbon fibre arm inserts
VRP have just released torsional carbon fibre arm inserts for the Mugen MBX8 buggy. These are much different than typical carbon arm inserts as rather than flexing torsionally, they flex length wise, from hinge pin to hinge pin. This will help the suspension arm flex correctly, keep them from twisting under load when accelerating/decelerating, yet allow them to flex with the squat of the chassis. Overall, they will give more traction and a consistent feel compared to regular carbon or plastic inserts, thanks to using directionally laid carbon fibre plates. The parts are machined in house at VRP in Houston, Texas and are available in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm thicknesses.
