Kröger & Püpke take wins at West German regional

Round one of the West German IC Track regionals was held at the fast and demanding track of the AMC-Hamm e.V. club. In the 1/8 class 2 young David Kröger showed his whole talent and a mature drive as he is not only a fast driver, but also kept things in control when it was needed most. With his father Thomas Kröger as a pitman and mechanic David he drove an intelligent race, not risking too much and bringing home the win in front of Bert Poeser and Gunnar Blumedahl.

In the 1/10 nitro class the final saw a nice battle for positions, different leaders, and some drama too. Starting in damp conditions the track dried up very quickly. The off line parts of the track were still very slippery, so there wasn’t much room for errors. In the end Rene Püpke came out fastest. 2nd position has been earned by Bernd Rausch who stayed out of trouble driving a steady race. The final podium spot has been earned by Majuran Tharmalingam.
