Slovakian Electric Buggy Championship Rd1 – Report

The opening round of the 1/10 Slovakian Electric Off-road Nationals took place last weekend in Košice. The technical track with a long straight offered a combination of different surfaces, making setup tricky. A rainy day before the race increased the grip for the qualification run with the 2WD being TQ’d by local driver Peter Tauber while in 4WD it was Miloš Švihran who grabbed the pole position for the finals.

As the sunny day went on the track dried out and all the finals were run in dusty track conditions and with lower traction. In both categories the winner was decided in the last finals. With full concentration and a bit of luck Roman Pavlus took the win in both categories to score full points at round 1 of Slovakian Nationals. In the 2WD class Peter Tauber came in 2nd from Miloš Švihran 3rd while the 4WD podium was completed by Peter Tauber and Dankovcik Tomas.
