Reds Racing Z8 1/8 scale speed controller

Available now from Reds Racing is their new Z8 brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale applications. Built from high-quality components the 6S LiPo-capable speed controller has a 220A rating, allowing to use it with down to 2400kV 4274-size motors at 6S input. The ESC is housed in a 3-piece lightweight aluminium case for exceptional heat dissipation, it offers advanced Turbo timing control and utilises a 6V/7.4V BEC system to make use of the latest generation of high-voltage servos. Other features include optimised throttle and brake algorithms for improved power control, programmability using an optional LCD programming card, and the included high speed fan ensures the controller stays cooler for longer.

Features:
– Excellent power feeling and control thanks to power and brake control curve algorithms
– Excellent braking characteristics for constant braking feeling at every speed
– Built from high quality components
– Real time signal translation
– 3-piece lightweight precision machined aluminium case with machined air ducts for improved cooling
– Efficient cooling system that uses a cooling middle plate equipped with air ducts to channel fresh air directly to power PCB where the mosfets are installed.
– High efficiency dual PCB design with high performance power board and ultra fast response digital control board
– Advanced Timing settings: two RPM based timing settings and one “Turbo” (full throttle) timing settings
– Switched 6V/7.4V BEC
– ABC motor wire order protection:. In case of motor wire reversal, the ESC cannot be damaged
