JConcepts Hotties tires & Startec wheels

Hotties tires by JConcepts were created to look and perform the part of a performance Drag Racing tire without compromising grip. The rear tire has an inspired look with a wide-body footprint so the driver can feel the straight-line forward stability while the front tire features revolved cuts so the driver can feel the straight-line stability both with very light rolling resistance. The 2.2 x 3.0″ size makes it convenient to fit a host of SCT sized wheel options including the JConcepts (#3387B) StarTec wheel design.

Both the front and rear tire is designed as a compact shape to fit inside those close quarters of a vehicle while maintaining the crisp response of a race tire. Hotties have raised lettering which can be detailed for shows or displays or simply left without for a sleepy yet devastating look. The rear carcass incorporates heavy internal X-ribbing around the inner diameter and feathery ribs along the sidewall to cushion straight-line blast-offs and both tires include the closed-cell, grey in colour Dirt-Tech inserts known for their durability, performance and consistency. Both come in either green or cold compound.

To complete the look JConcepts have introduced their StarTec wheels. The front StarTec wheels feature a 2.2” size which match to just about any existing buggy tire on the market while the rear wheel features a beefy, SCT 2.2” x 3.0” size and fit any SCT tire already produced. The wheels fit a vast amount of vehicles for anyone looking to undertake a Street Eliminator project and accept a 12mm hex drive. Popular vehicles which use the StarTecs include, the Traxxas Slash, Bandit, Rustler as well as the popular line-up of Team Associated short course trucks. The 12mm hex based wheels are packaged in a set, two fronts and two rears are included in each package.
