Devoll & Champlin win at Fall Classic Race

Coyote Hobbies of Victorville, California held their 2018 Fall Classic Race this past weekend at their indoor dirt track facility. The event attracted over 170 entries and in 2WD Open Buggy it was Ron Devoll with the TQ after the qualifiers and the win in the 6-minute single A-main event. A lap down it was Jeremy Hase Jr., coming from the 8 spot on the grid, who snatched the runner-up spot some 4.5 seconds in front of Blake Champlin.

4WD Open Buggy was also TQ’d by Ron Devoll, however it was 3rd place qualifier, Blake Champlin with the overall win some 1.6s in front of Ron. Carlos Arredondo, who qualified 2nd, had to settle for 3rd overall.

Pro2 Short Course had Davey Batta dominating the field with the TQ and win in the single 6-minute A-main. Rudy Rosales came in 2nd, a lap down while Peter Cruz rounded out the top 3, a lap short of Rudy.

Pro4 Short Course had Hunter Willams walking away with the TQ and win as Rodney Phelps and “Coyote Dave” rounded out the top 3.

4WD 13.5T Buggy saw Antonio Counsil taking the TQ and win a lap in front of Leeland Woolfolk as Joe Bartucca came in 2nd, a lap short of Leland.

2WD Expert 17.5T Buggy had Antonio Counsil taking his second win this weekend, a lap in front of Barry Baker and Sammy Moran.
