Exotek roll out new AE 6.1 series optionals

Coming from Exotek are several new option parts for the Team Associated 6.1 series off-road kits. First up is the Flite top shaft for the Flite spur gear mount. Made for the 6.1 series of laydown and layback transmission kit, but not for the standup transmission, the ultra light top shaft has been drilled and the teeth narrowed for increased acceleration and a cooler running motor. The top shaft teeth are 6.5mm wide which is wider than the lightweight Associated top shaft teeth which helps prolong the life of the plastic idler gear. Substantially lighter than the stock shaft and slipper assembly when combined with Exotek’s optimally available special lightened spur mount, the assembly weighs in at only 9.2g complete with hardware and 69 spur. The shaft is made in Germany and comes black anodised for wear resistance.

Also new is the 2-colour aluminium steering rack for the 6.1 kits. The customised polished black base with blue chamfered accents goes great with stock plastic parts or aftermarket blue parts while ensuring precise steering input and heavy-duty long-lasting performance. Last but not least comes the stealthy 2-colour anodised 7075 alloy rear ball stud mount. Its 2-tone look makes for a special appearance and like all of the above items it is usable with the B6.1, T6.1 and SC6.1 kits.
