Gollner & Riedmann win as Austrian EP On-road Nats

A round of the Austrian Electric On-road Nationals was recently held at the Trinko Racing Hall in Mistelbach. The event was held in the four classes of Touring Modified, Touring Stock, 1/12th scale and Pro10 GT and in Touring Modified it was a 2-horse battle between Sascha Klug and Patrick Gollner. After the qualifiers it looked like Sascha would be the man to beat but Patrick worked tirelessly to fine-tune his car’s setup and his own driving, eventually being able to put pressure on Sascha in the A-mains. In the end it was Patrick who would prevail, taking the day’s win from Sascha Klug in 2nd and Christian Luyer in 3rd.

The Stock class fell a bit short on entries this time, nevertheless it offered great and fair fights. Robin Riedmann was under pressure of Christian Strobl, however Robin would bring home the day’s win from Christian in 2nd. Behind the two, Johannes Neumeier and Alexander Sorg battled for the final podium spot with Johannes eventually coming out on top to the 3rd overall.
