Raiola & Groskamp win at US Nitro World Cup

The 2018 US Nitro World Cup was held at the Homestead RC Raceway, host of this year’s IFMAR 1/10th Nitro Touring World Championships, this past weekend. The event was held in four Nitro on-road classes and in 1/8th Open it was Infinity’s Carmine Raiola with the TQ and win, leaving behind Infinity teammate Dario Balestri in 2nd, a lap down. Alberto Picco would end the 45-minute main final in 3rd, some 8.2s down on Dario. Another Italian, Marco Vanni would come in 4th, 13 laps in front o Roniel Regalado.

In the 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring class it was Infinity’s Teemu Leino with the TQ, however after the 45-minute A-main event it was Infinity’s Jilles Groskamp who would hold the upper hand, taking the win a lap in front of Teemu as Melvin Aulston (WRC Racing) came in 3rd, some 11 laps behind Teemu.
