Round 3 of the JBRL Winter Indoor Off-road Series was held at Rain-Man’s Hobby & Raceway in Bakersfield, California last weekend. In the 2WD Open Buggy class it was Kyosho’s Mason Eppley with the TQ and win in the single 6-minute A-main event. Kyosho team manager, Zachary Rogers, coming from P5 on the grid, ended the race on the runner-up spot, some 7.6s in front of Yokomo’s Tanner Ashmore in 3rd.

4WD Open Buggy was also TQ’d by Mason Eppley (Kyosho), however it was Team Associated’s Brian Strange, runner-up after the qualifiers, with the win some four seconds in front of Mason. Zachary Rogers (Kyosho), coming from the 5th spot on the grid, would round out the top 3.

In the competitive 13.5 Wheeler class Sammy Moran took the TQ, but it wasn’t to be in the finals as he only finished in 7th, as Cory Smith took the win some 1.4s in front of Ian Crawford. Ride Rosales, coming from P6, completed the top 3.
