Exotek roll out new X1 & F6 optionals

Coming from Exotek are several new option parts for the Xray X1 and Team Associated F6 formula car kits. First up is a rear carbon fibre spool axle, usable on the X1 and F6. The extra lightweight carbon fibre and 7075 aluminium clamping spool set utilises a 1/4” rear axle design such as for the X1, F6 and also the Roche cars. The spool helps eliminate “diffing out” of the rear pod on extra high grip black carpet conditions and gives the car more corner exit speeds. The spool also greatly reduces the weight compared to a gear diff or standard ball diff for a cooler running motor and increased acceleration. The sturdy design eliminates any holes in the shaft for increased shaft durability and the spur gear mount keys directly into the supplied right side wheel clamp and makes for easier gear swaps as well. Also the right side wheel clamp uses 2-screws-style clamping which requires less force on the screws for better clamping force. The conversion requires a standard pan car ball diff type spur gear and the standard left side clamping hub.

Also new is a left side clamping hub for any formula car using 1/4” axles such as the X1, F6, Roche, etc. The 7075 aluminium construction is milled for lightness and utilises two screws for easier and more secure clamping force without needing to over-tighten a single screw. The hub works with the stock ball diff axles, Xray gear diff or the above Exotek formula spool. Last but not least comes a heavy-duty front arm brace for the Xray X1 kit. The front arm mounting base fits all X1 cars and the 1-piece design replaces the three thin front chassis posts insuring extra protection from tweaked suspension and chassis from impacts. The machined 7075 alloy construction comes polished and anodised in factory orange.
