Xray Racing Series Poland Rd3 – Report

The third round of the Xray Racing Series Poland took place last weekend. The race was considered the biggest indoor event in Poland and it attracted 170 drivers in total to race on a high-grip EOS carpet track. The layout was pretty fast with quick jumps and the race attracted some special guests such as Michal Orlowski, Jörn Neumann and Adam Izsay with all three showing some crazy fast laps. The race was held in six different classes including 1/14th scale open with the smaller buggies and trucks doing really good on the 1/10th scale track. In the 2WD and 4WD Modified classes the pace was set by Michal Orlowski (Schumacher) in the qualifiers, however come the finals, Jörn Neumann (Schumacher) stepped up his game and took the wins in both classes. Behind Michal it was Bartłomiej Kramża (Schumacher) who would round out the 2WD Modified top 3.

Over in 4WD Modified the podium was completed by Michal Orlowski in 2nd and Xray’s Bartosz Zalewski in 3rd.

Fastest driver in the Truck Pro class was young talent, Bartosz Zalewski who took the win in front of Wojciech Rzpecki and Pawel Trella, making it an Xray 1-2-3.

In 2WD Stock class Andrzej Trella took the TQ in front of Pawel Ntkovca and Szymon Madziara. However changing grip for the finals affected especially the 2WD classes and so Jakub Koper brought home the win from Pawel Ntkovca and Pawel Grzeskowiak (all Xray).

In 4WD Stock, up and coming Jan Zalewski took the overall win with his Xray in front of Andrzej Trella (Xray) and Rafal Ilendo (Team Associated).
