Aigoin & Medjoubi win at 3rd annual Fun Race

The French Mini Bolid’ Club Pertuisien track held the third edition of its Fun Race this past weekend. Over the year the season opening race has become an integral part in the race programme of many French top pilots and this year was no exception. In the 1/8th Nitro Buggy class, attracting over 70 entries, it was Tom Robin with the overall TQ from Jerome Aigoin and Eliot Marcon, however in the super-tight 20-minute A-main final it was Yannick Aigoin with the win a lap in front of Patrick Auvient Jr. Rayan Medjoubi came in 3rd only some five seconds behind. Eliot Marcon and Maxime Noble would round out the top 5 only a lap behind the leader.

In the E-Buggy category, that draw nearly 40 entries, it was Rayan Medjoubi with the overall TQ from Tom Robin and Armand Lantheaume. The single 10-minute A-main final saw Rayan bringing home a narrow 1.4s win from Armand as Eliot Marcon had to settle for 3rd, a lap short of the top 2.
