Swiss Electric On-road Championship Rd2 – Report

The second round of this year’s Swiss Electric On-road Championship was held at the HSH race track in Dintikon, Central Switzerland. More than 50 drivers competed in five category with the race seeing mixed weather on Saturday and sun on Sunday. In Touring Modified it was local hero Michele Manzo who won a very hard but fair fight for the victory against Carl Friedrich Groessel. Michele had dominated the qualifiers but in the finals it was a very tight race. On third it was Boris Siladi showing a good performance driving both the Touring ProStock and Modified classes.

In ProStock, it was Boris Siladi taking the win in front of Nuno Huber and his team mate Andreas Gaving.

In Formula Fabio Marzini copied his last year’s results with the overall TQ and win in all three A-mains. 2nd place went to Renato Marrocco in front of Andi Frattaroli.

In Swiss-GT Roger Eifler could manage to get another win by taking all three A-mains from the TQ spot. The 2nd place went to Roland Wild in front of 3rd placed Pascal Fässler.

Finally in the Yokomo Racing Academy class it was Calvin Kunz taking the win in front of Lucas Stiasny and Fabian Wirth. Once again it was nice to see such a motivated and talented group of youngsters hitting the track.
