Tamiya introduce first M-08 Concept optionals

Tamiya have introduced first option parts for the forthcoming M-08 Concept M-chassis kit. First up are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers that will replace the standard moulded composite parts. Machined from high-quality 3mm material the shock stays also offer addition upper shock mounting positions, four instead of two in the front and six instead of three in the rear, for added adjustability. While being of a low weight the towers also improve suspension efficiency due to being a lot sturdier. The shock towers are available separately and they come including mounting hardware.

Next up is an aluminium steering arm set as a replacement for the plastic K1 and K2 parts. The machined alloy parts come blue anodised and they will greatly improve the steering feeling especially on high-bite surfaces and when running in high ambient temperatures. Another steering-related item is the alloy steering bridge that will replace the standard K8 part. The bridge comes machined from high-quality aluminium, it is blue anodised and includes mounting and adjustment hardware. Other new parts include the C parts kit that feature 2 degree uprights, the Super counter idler gear set as well as a titanium screw set that will scrub about 20g of weight compared to the standard steel fasteners. All parts will hit stores in time for the release of the M-08 Concept kit.
