Wurst & Goebel win at West German IC Track regionals

The AMC Hamm club held round 2 of the West German Nitro On-road regionals this past weekend. The qualifiers of the faster 1/8th IC Track class 1 were dominated by Mugen’s Christian Wurst who took the overall TQ with a lap margin from Karl-Heinz Meister in the 2 spot. In the main final Christian lead the field from the start until the end and took the win a lap in front of Emil Kostadinov and Daniel Toennessen in 2nd and 3rd respectively, making it an all-Mugen podium.

In the slightly slower 1/8th IC Track class 2 it was ARC’s Andreas Goebel with the TQ and win from Mugen’s Reinhard Zick in 2nd and Capricorn’s Michael Woeste in 3rd.
