Bidovsky & Götzl win at Czech 1/10th Off-road Nats Rd2

The second round of Czech 1/10th Off-road Nationals took a place at the Horni Jeleni track last weekend. The weekend kicked off with a bit of a delay due to rain on Saturday morning but from there things would get a grip. In 2WD buggy it was Team Associated’s Ales Bidovsky who topped the first two qualifiers to secure the overall TQ, while Xray’s Max Götzl took Q3 with the fastest time of the day, but he would start 2nd on the grid and in front of Xray driver Michal Binder. Ales then took the win in A1 as Max had some small mistakes, but Götzl came back with the win in A2, as Ales in return made a lot of mistakes, so it was all to decide in A3. Max was able to take the lead on the 2nd lap and would hold it until the last lap, but he made a mistake which cost him the win. So the podium stayed as it was after the qualifiers, as Michal took 3rd overall.

In 4WD it was Max on the top in all three qualifiers, with fastest times and faster best laps every run. Ales took the 2nd place on the grid and Serpent’s David Krizak came in 3rd. Max then took easy wins with a huge gap in all three finals to take the overall win. The podium stayed as it was after qualifiers, with Ales 2nd and David 3rd.

In the Truck category, Max took the overall TQ followed by easy wins in A1 and A2 to secure the overall win early. Behind him it was Jan Hofman who took 2nd on the grid and also in the end, and Rafal Ertel took the 3rd and 3rd also in the qualifiers and finals.
