Blair & Drake win at JBRL Nitro Series Rd3

Round 3 of the Jimmy Babcock Racing League Nitro Series was held at Empire R/C Raceway in Brentwood, California last weekend. In the Expert Nitro Buggy class it was Mugen’s Adam Drake with the overall TQ after the qualifiers, in the 20-minute A-main final however Drake would only finish in 4th, as Austin Blair took the overall from Kyosho’s CJ Jelin in 2nd and Tekno’s Steve Harris in 3rd.

Open Truggy would see Adam Drake making there sweep, taking the overall TQ and win some three laps in front of Kyosho’s Monty Houston as Serpent’s Tobin Hammock came in 3rd, another lap down. Over in the Open E-Buggy class it was again Adam Drake with the TQ and he also brought home the silverware after the single 10-minute A-main as CJ Jelin and Austin Blair completed the top 3 results.
