Branislav Panak wins at Timar Laszlo Memorial Race

The Timar Laszlo Memorial Race was held at the Morac-Ring track near Graz in Austria recently. The weekend kicked off with free practice on Friday with qualifying starting on Saturday noon with both days being affected by the weather. Xray’s Branislav Panak would lead qualifying in the damp and he also led the dry main final from tone to tone to take the win on Saturday some two laps in front of Anton Sloboda (Xray) while Filip Uher (Xray) came in 3rd another three laps down.

Sunday saw another race and it was again Branislav Panak with the overall TQ despite having some troubles in Q1 and Q2. The last final was a big fight between Branislav Panak and Tamas Sagi. Tamas didn’t get a good start so he dropped to 4th place but fought his way back to Branislav only three minutes into the race. Both were separated by only around a second for the whole final. When it came to the last pit stop Tamas got past Branislav as Tamas was able to do an extra lap. Ultimately Tamas would bring home the win in the second final with a 1.5 seconds marging, however it was Branislav with the overall as the addition of the two races would count towards the overall ranking which saw Branislav taking the win from Filip Uher as Tamas Sagi (Serpent) had to settle for 3rd overall.
