Arrowmax Cup HK Rd2 – Report

Round 2 of the Arrowmax Cup HK was held at the PYC track in Hong Kong last weekend. The event was held in Touring Modified, Touring 13.5T Stock, FWD and Formula classes and in Touring Modified it was Yokomo’s Kendrick Fong who checked out in leg 1 and 2 of the A-main to take an early overall win while Small Fung and Simon Yeung (Xray/ZeroTribe) fought for the remaining podium spots. Ultimately it was Small Fung with the runner-up spot from Simon Yeung in 3rd.

Touring Stock 13.5T was pretty exciting to watch with RaceOpt driver Lai Yiu Mun taking the TQ and win after some hard-fought battles with Team Associated’s Dave in 2nd and Xpress’ CY Leung in 3rd.

In the FWD class, Fai Ho took the TQ and win with a borrowed car leaving behind Wai Wai in 2nd and Ryan Lam in 3rd.

Finally in the Formula class it was Samson with the overall TQ and win in extremely difficult grip conditions. James Lee would end the race in 2nd from Ryan Lam in 3rd.
