Xpress have announced the release of their new heavy duty steel pulley shaft set for the GripXero D1 drift car. The reinforced shafts are an ideal upgrade when using high powered motors or whilst drifting on carpet where there is high stress on the drivetrain. The set includes two pulley shafts and a red anodised alloy bushing.

The 2019 season of the Czech IC Track Nationals recently concluded with round 5 of the series. The race however had to be cancelled due to severe rain all day so the price giving ceremony would be held instead with Branislav Panak taking the overall win in the 1/8th Nitro class from Martin Zvara in 2nd and Radovan Konopik in 3rd. Over in the 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring class it was Michal Abrahamek with the title win from Michal Jansa and Marcel Dostal.

The soft case battery is a direct replacement for the standard battery holders and it offers improved power, runtime and reliability. The pack measures 69×49.5×14.5mm, it weighs in at 74g and it comes pre-wired with a Tamiya power connector and an industry standard JST-XH balancer port for easy and secure charging.
Exotek have announced the release of their new heavy duty Pro steering set for the 1/10 Losi Rock and Baja Rey. It was designed with a beefier structure and engineered to have the most precision thanks to the robust 7075 alloy design that incorporates an additional four bearings to connect the steering rack, instead of bushings, which eliminates friction, wear and slop. The set also includes crush sleeves that go between the bearings which help prolong the bearings life and maintains precise fit and operation of the rack. Lastly, a bigger 3mm threaded steel connecting ball is included which is stronger than the smaller 4/40 stock connecting ball.
Coming from MST and made for their XXX-R and XXX-RA series on-road chassis are new front and rear wheel hubs that allow the addition of mock-up brake discs and callipers for a more realistic appearance. The front steering knuckles and rear uprights are moulded from high-quality composite material with the rear hubs also allowing to adjust the outer suspension pin height to access more complex setups. The brake discs also incorporate the wheel hex adapter, making for easy tyre swaps.
Coming from Protoform is the pre-cut Turismo hard wing for 190mm touring car body shells. It is an optional medium-weight wing using the same design as the stock Turismo wing. It is highly recommended when using the X-lite weight body, and provides a neutral feeling and added durability for your 190mm touring car on any track surface. JConcepts have announced the release of new rubber compound variants of their popular Octagon ST and SCT tyres. Developed for high-bite slick tyre racing the beauty of the Octagons lay just beneath the surface where JConcepts has removed a little surface area in the geometry based pattern. The carcass is slightly lower profile than JConcepts’ slick tires of the past and incorporates heavy X-pattern style inner ribbing for increased support. The continuous thickness carcass is light-weight and utilizes the industry standard 2.2” mounting beads. Like the name suggests, the embossed tread which is Octagon shaped is repeated and overlapped to form a subculture of grippy surface edges for dry or abrasive surfaces. The stadium truck variant is now available in Aqua and Silver compound while the SCT line has the Silver compound added. All come including grey colour Dirt-Tech inserts.
Axial have introduced the new Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy builder’s Kit for advanced drivers, that is engineered for cutting-edge crawling, with portal axles plus a transmitter-operated DIG function that allows a tighter turning radius. With the included Dig transmission, drivers can switch on the fly between 4WD and FWD directly from a 3-channel transmitter — locking the rear axle whenever needing the tighter turning radius of front drive power. The Capra features a realistic tube chassis design and metal gears everywhere, from the center transmission to the lockers and portal axles. It rides on licensed Raceline 3-piece molded beadlock wheels that can be fitted with whatever 1.9 tyres the owner prefers. Needed for completion are a 3-channel radio system, steering servo, micro servo for Dig operation, ESC, motor, battery, and a suitable charger.
