JConcepts Finnisher T6.1/YZ-2T truck body shell

Coming from JConcepts is the Finnisher truck body shell for both the Team Associated T6.1 and the Yokomo YZ-2T stadium trucks. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance-oriented core. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for unique geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while the supplied decals stand-out like an 18-wheeler. Like the ROAR National Champion Hi-Flow SCT body, the Finnisher body has built-in air escape passages which allow the customer to fine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The latest stadium trucks can utilize shocks placed on the front or rear of the rear suspension, the JConcepts body accommodates both configurations for the utmost versatility. The new body includes a high-performance gurney spoiler which increases rear grip and balances the handling characteristics of the aggressively styled body. The body fits both the T6.1 and YZ-2T kits.

Luke Lee grabs BRCA Formula title

The seventh round of the BRCA Clubmans series was held at the Bedworth track in the usual Touring Stock and Formula classes. Despite missing Saturday’s practice, it was Luke Lee who made a clean sweep in qualifying to take the overall TQ in the Formula class. Onto the finals and on pole with a clear track ahead of him, Luke didn’t look back in leg 1, as he managed to create a gap and keep it for the whole race. Leg 2 however was not so straight forward. A mistake on the opening laps dropped Luke down the field and he tried to work his way though, but a few cars were beginning to struggle with rear grip under braking so on a couple of occasions they touched resulting in Luke waiting for them to regain track position ahead of him. Eventually Luke worked his way through the field and with just a minute to go there was a big gap to the lead car but he pushed hard and on the penultimate lap he was nose to tail, and he made a hard move to get passed but pushed the leader into a slide so he conceded the place back. With just one lap to go Luke tried a few places to get passed but eventually just a couple of corners from the end he managed to find a way past and took the win by just 0.17 seconds. Behind him it was Michal Lee on the runner-up from Lee Owen in 3rd, completing an all-Xray top 3. With the win Luke also took the overall championship with the maximum points score.
