Spencer Rivkin doubles at Surf City Classic

OCRC Raceway of Huntington Beach, California hosted the 12th Annual Surf City Classic race last weekend with over 310 entries for the Modified and Stock 1/10th off-road classes. In 2WD Mod Buggy it was Broc Champlin with the overall TQ but in the single 10-minutes A-main event it was 3rd place qualifier, Team Associated’s Spencer Rivkin who would hold the upper hand, taking the win 5.6 seconds in front of Kyosho’s CJ Jelin as Team Associated’s Rob Gillespie came in 3rd, another two seconds down.

In 4WD Modified Buggy it was again Broc Champlin with the overall TQ and yet again it was Spencer Rivkin who would prevail in the single A-main event, taking his second win of the weekend as the Yokomo duo of JP Richard and Ryan Cavalieri completed the top 3 results.
