Indonesia Buggy Nationals finale – Report

The final round of the Indonesia Buggy Nationals was held at the C-Netic RC Track in Surabaya, East Java last weekend. A total of 46 drivers from Jakarta, Medan, Padang, Batam, Banjarmasin, Pontianak, Makasar as well as local racers attended this event whose schedule saw six rounds of 10-minute qualifying followed by bump-up finals. After the six rounds of qualifying it was Jason Nugroho (HB Racing/Ninja) with the overall TQ honours, unfortunately in the A-main final he suffered from two flame-outs because of flywheel problems and finished in 2nd place. Up front it was Adrian Wicaksono (Mugen/Ninja) who would walk away with the win as Rama Tribudiman (Kyosho/O.S.) came in 3rd to round out the podium.

As this was the final round of the series, the Indonesia RC Association ARMI also awarded the top 10 overall positions in the series with Adrian Wicaksono taking the overall from Jason Nugroho and Ray Timothy.
