RCRA 1/8th Off-road Nationals Rd3 – Report

The Southern Districts Model Car Club hosted the 3rd round of the RCRA 1/8th Off-road Nationals this past weekend, attracting 115 entries for the Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truggy classes. The Nitro Buggy class was lead by Team Associated‘s Alex Bernadzik who took the overall TQ and also the win in the hour-long A-main event, leaving behind TLR‘s Andrew Foord in 2nd, a lap down while HB Racing‘s Craig Laughton came in 3rd, some 24 seconds behind Craig.

With the win, Alex would also secure himself the overall title from Team Associated‘s Cameron Zammit 2nd and Craig Laughton 3rd.

Over in the Truck class it was again Alex Bernadzik with the overall TQ and win as Savage Sam (HB Racing) came in 2nd, some four laps behind and Tekno RC‘s Ryan Nitschke completed the top 3 podium result.

Overall in the championship, Alex walked away with the title from Ryan Nitschke 2nd and Jordan Van (Mugen) in 3rd.
