Tamiya introduce new TB-05 aluminium optionals

Tamiya have introduced new aluminium option parts for the TB-05 range of on-road cars. First up is an adjustable Ackermann set that allows to fine-tune the steering geometry in order to achieve different amounts of steering aggressiveness. A replacement for the standard moulded plastic T5, T6 and T7 parts, the alloy equivalents allow to mimic the standard geometry as well as accessing a more aggressive setting, with improved initial steering response, as well as an intermediate setting, ranging between normal and aggressive steering. Included in the set come steering bellcranks, a steering bridge as well as three different spacers along ball bearings and shims. The alloy parts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come blue anodised for wear and looks.

Also new is an aluminium rear damper stay mount that was designed to replace the standard T2 moulded plastic part. Using the alloy variant will improve suspension stiffness, which allows the shocks to work more efficiently for optimised traction and side bite and thus faster laps times.
