Clement Boda doubles at Coupe des Champions race

The Coupe des Champions race was held in Colombier-Saugnieu, France this past weekend, attracting some of the country’s fastest electric off-road racers. In 2WD Modified Buggy and 4WD Modified Buggy it was young Team Associated racer, Clement Boda who would prevail as he took the overall TQ from TLR racer, Renaud Savoya and the two would also battle for the overall win with the better end for Clement who would snatch his first win of the day in front of Renaud in 2nd and Xray’s Mathieu Briere in 3rd.

In 4WD Mod Buggy it was again the duo of Clement and Renaud who would dominate the qualifiers with the two ending tie on points, however it was again Clement who would hold the upper hand to take the pole position for the triple A-mains. In the finals Renaud would score a win in A1, however the final two legs went in Clement’s favour who took a second overall win with Renaud in 2nd and Xray’s Patrick Auvinet Jr. in 3rd.
