Willspeed RF2 B6.1 conversion kit

Following on from the success of their 5-gear super laydown RF2 conversion based upon the Xray XB2 buggy, Willspeed have announced the release of a conversion platform for the popular Team Associated B6.1. The car builds on an aircraft-grade billet aluminium tub style chassis for the ultimate in lightweight, low COG, integral strength, single piece no tweak design. The signature ultra low profile aircraft-grade aluminium 5-gear transmission housing makes for optimised weight distribution with lowered idlers, lowered layshaft and unique no tower “A” frame design, for a hugely lowering COG. Other features include an aluminium low centre of gravity motor mount design, an aluminium shock tower with internal undercut keyway which interlocks with transmission housing for super solid tower mounting an the race ready car with full size shorty LiPo, full size servo and Schumacher tyres weighs in at approximately 1495g. With prototype cars excelling since their debut the B6.1 conversion will be up for grabs very soon.
