Batlle & Canas successful at Bigbang Race

The Circuito Municipal de Sax track in Spain held the Bigbang season closing race this past weekend, attracting over 80 entries for the Nitro and Electric Buggy classes. The Nitro Buggy class was top qualified by Manuel Iniesta from Bryan Baldo and Dani Bernabe, however it was Juan Carlos Canas with the pole position for the 45-minute A-main event. Carlos would also lead the very early stages of the race until Mugen’s Robert Batlle took over the 1st spot and never looked back to take the win with a lap margin from SWorkz’s Juan Carlos Canas. HB Racing’s Manuel Iniesta started from 4th into the race and was able bring home the final podium spot from Juan Espasa in 4th.

Over in E-Buggy it was Juan Carlos Canas who was in control of things, bringing home the TQ spot and also the wins in all four A-main events, leaving behind 2nd place qualifier, Robert Batlle in 2nd and 6th place qualifier, HB Racing’s Hugo Ibanez in 3rd.
