Klinik RC Xd 3.5mm titanium turnbuckles

Klinik RC have intruded their newest Xd titanium turnbuckles, designed for Xtreme Duty applications. As speeds and grip continue to increase, the need for a stronger turnbuckle becomes necessary. Machined from solid billet grade 5 6Al4v titanium, the 3.5mm diameter turnbuckles are the goto in high-stress applications. They fit the Schumacher Cat L1/L1 Evo and Cougar Laydown and included with the Xd turnbuckle set comes a 1/8” drill bit to slightly enlarge the opening of the standard Schumacher ball cups.

SpeeDome-RC T4 2020 carbon fibre bumper brace

Coming from SpeeDome-RC is a carbon fibre bumper brace for the Xray T4 2020 touring car. Machined from 4mm high-quality material the bumper brace will protect the front of the chassis in the event of a crash as the part will brace itself against the front bulkheads, ensuring only minimal movement of the lower front bumper mount and thus taking away stress from the very front of the chassis. The CNC-machined bumper brace includes two M3x10mm titanium screws and it is a direct fit.

T-Works roll out new X3 GTS optionals

T-Works have announced the release of new optional parts for the Hong Nor X3 GTS kit. First up is a titanium turnbuckle set made of high-quality 64 grade titanium. Included are six camber and steering link turnbuckles as well as a steering servo link and two wrenches that allow for easy building and adjustment. Using the titanium links over the standard parts will lower the overall wight while adding rigidity and visual impact. Also new is a precision ball bearing set that includes ball races with rubber and metal-shields for high durability while still ensuring low natural drivetrain drag. Last but not least comes a 158-piece 64 grade UFO head titanium screw kit and a 170-piece gold-colour steel screw set. The titanium fasteners allow to scrub some weight and add rigidity while the steel screw set mainly adds visual impact and corrosion resistance.

SMJ GG magnifying glass with LED light

SMJ have introduced their new GG magnifying glass that comes in handy when handling small and very small parts. It offers two different lenses for 250 percent or 800 percent magnification with two LED lights further brightening up things, making the tool ideal to inspect glow plugs and other small accessories that profit from a very detailed inspection. The self-supporting glass can be used as a table or clip-on light, ensuring the modeller can still use both hands.

Yeah Racing 4-Tec 2.0 alloy spur gear adapter

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 is an aluminium spur gear adapter. A direct replacement for the standard steel part, the aluminium option part is a lot lighter, resulting in less rotational masses and thus quicker spool-up, better acceleration and more overall performance. The set includes the CNC machined adapter, a suitable spur gear, washers and mounting hardware and it is available in blue or black colour.

Rebellion-RC TC7.2 FWD conversion kit

RC-Carbonstore from Austria have introduced their new Rebellion-RC FWD chassis conversion kit for the Team Associated TC7.2 touring car. The conversion includes a new single-piece machined aluminium motor and servo mount with integrated flex adjustments, an ultra-precise stainless steel main shaft, a new servo bridge for optimised servo positioning, a newly developed slider steering assembly, and two types of battery mounts for easy balance adjusting. Also included are the machined spur gear mount and centre pulley, and a unique rear body stay mount that utilises Xray X1 caster inserts to allow for easy body height adjustments. The conversion kit is available including a carbon fibre or Rebellion-RC’s signature CrossFlex aluminium chassis, the latter allows for easy weight balance and torsional flex adjustments using optional brass inserts.

JConcepts introduce new B74 & B6.1 optionals

JConcepts have announced the release of new option parts for the Team Associated B74 and B6.1 off-road kits. First up is a set of carbon fibre steering arms for the B74. They are precision machined from 2.5mm carbon fibre material to better outfit and shed some weight from the Team Associated B74 vehicle. The design team has pin-pointed the exact geometry locations of the steering arms and created them in the durable and lightweight material. The arms are symmetric so they can be used on either side of the vehicle and can be neatly installed with the standard kit hardware.

Mon-Tech tease new 190mm high downforce TC body

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new 190mm high downforce touring car body shell. Developed over the recent months with input of Mon-Tech’s world wide Pro racing team, the body will be the latest addition to the ever growing range of new aggressively-shaped high-performance touring car lids. The official presentation of the body is only days away with shipping of the first batch being scheduled for the early days of 2020.
