John Ermen wins at Indoor 2020 Saint Brieuc

The Saint Brieuc Mini Bolides club hosted the Indoor 2020 Saint Brieuc race this past weekend. The event was held in 1/8th and 1/10th nitro on-road as well as an 1/8th electric classes and in 1/8th IC Track it was John Ermen (ARC) with the overall TQ some 0.9 seconds in front of Richard Volta (Mugen). The 30-minute saw John opening a gap from the get go and by the second fuel stop, he already was in the lead by about half a lap. However shortly after the second stop John faced some mechanical issues which reduced his lead and after two unplanned stops he lost more than one lap on the lead car. In the second half of the race Ermen was able to up his pace again and to un-lap himself, chasing down the leader. Ultimately John was able to regain the lead with Richard Volta having to settle for 2nd overall, a lap behind. Rick Vrielijnck (Infinity) came in 3rd, another lap down.

Over in the 1/10th 200mm class it was Jean-Marie Glorennec with the overall TQ and he also came out on top in the 30-minute A-main event, leaving behind Kevin Rasquin in 2nd, some eight seconds behind. Anthony Stephan would complete the top 3 results some eight laps behind the top 2.
