Ronald Völker TQs & wins at 2020 MCSS Open

The 2020 MCSS Open was hosted by the MCSS Althengstett club in Germany this past weekend. In the Touring Modified class it was Yokomo’s Ronald Völker with a clean sweep in the qualifiers, winning all five rounds for the overall TQ. The triple A-main events then again saw Ronald leading the way and with three wins he took the overall title from Awesomatix’s Michele Manzo in 2nd while Xray’s Marco Kaufmann came in 3rd overall. Dionys Stadler and Carl Friedrich Groessel completed the top 5 results.

In Touring Sport 13.5T it was Valentin Hettrich who took the overall TQ after the tie-breaker with Christian Donath. The entertaining triple A-main events then saw three different winners with Christian Donath, Valentin Hettrich and Alex Kunkler all scoring a win each and when the dust had settled it was Christian (Awesomatix) with the overall win from Tobias (Awesomatix) and Alex (Yokomo).

Touring Fun 17.5T saw Simon Schindler and Daniel Pöhlmann ending tie on points after the qualifiers with Simon eventually taking the overall TQ and also the win after the triple A-mains from Joachim Altenhof 2nd and Daniel Pöhlmann 3rd (all Awesomatix).

The popular FWD 17.5T class saw another tie-breaker for the overall TQ and pole position with Alex Kunkler and Philipp Hagnauer battling it out. Alex (Yokomo prototype) would ultimately walk away with the TQ and also the win after the triple A-mains as the Awesomatix duo of Philipp Hagnauer and Daniel Pöhlmann came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
