Xray Racing Series Australia Rd1 – Report

The 2020 XRS Australia kicked off with a bang and 40 degree temperatures for the day in western Sydney, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Just on 50 entries is a great start to the XRS, considering the Whalan Club has minimal members, it was great to see the local clubs supporting the event. In Modified, Xray’s Ari Bakla took the win ahead Yokomo’s John Puse and ARC’s Lionel Saunders.

In 13.5T Stock, Xray’s Damian Zarb won ahead of Xray teammate, Christian Silva and Yokomo’s Peter Wong.

Finally, 21.5T was dominated Ray Zarb and the podium was completed Brendan George and Jake McKee.
