Round 5 of the Czech Masters Series was held in Prague last weekend, attracting a very competitive field of drivers. In the 2WD Buggy class it was Adam Izsay who was able to TQ all three rounds of qualifying with Max Götzl in 2nd and Antonia Kovalzski in 3rd. 4WD Buggy qualifying saw Max taking the overall TQ after coming out on top in Q1 and Q3 as Adam came in 2nd and Jiri Mara putting his car on the 3 spot on the grid. In the Truck class Max made a clean sweep in the qualifiers to take the overall TQ from Frank Hempel in 2nd and Marcel Dostál 3rd.
Max and Adam had some nice battles in the opening two 2WD A-mains with ultimately Adam holder the upper hand to take the overall from Max in 2nd and Antonia in 3rd, making it an all-Xray top 3.
A1 of 4WD saw Max and Adam again in a close battle and Adam was able to grab the win while in return it was Max with the win in A2 following a huge mistake of Adam. The decisive A3 saw Max starting on older tyres which meant a disadvantage on the somewhat low-grip carpet, however Max was able to hold onto his 1st place to take the win from Adam in 2nd and Antonia in 3rd, making it another all-Xray top 3.
In the Truck class Max would be able to take wins in A1 and A2 for an early overall win from Frank Hempel (Team Associated) in 2nd awhile Marcel Dostal (Xray) completed the top 3 podium result.
