Ron DeVoll doubles at 2020 Ice Breaker

The 2020 Ice Breaker was held at LSR Speedway of Sacramento, California last weekend, attracting nearly 190 entries. In the premier 2WD Mod Buggy class it was Kyle Layton with the overall TQ from Ron DeVoll in 2nd. The opening A-main saw Ron walking away with the win as Antonio Counsil came in 2nd. TQ Kyle Layton had to settle for 4th place. A2 then had Kyle taking the win as Ron only finished in 3rd place and behind 3rd place qualifier, Ezra Keller. The deciding A3 then would see Ron taking the win with a lap margin on Kyle Layton in 2nd and Ezra Keller in 3rd. This would also be the overall all-Team-Associated top 3 after the triple A-mains.

Over in 4WD Mod Buggy Xray driver Kyle Turner would bring home the TQ but again Ron showed his strength in the A-mains, and by winning A1 and A2 he took the overall victory with one leg to spare as Kyle Turner cemented his overall runner-up position with a win in A3. The top 3 was rounded out by Team Associated driver, Gonzalo Cortez.
