Brown & Yoshii win at Northwest Indoor Series Rd4

Round 4 of the Northwest Indoor Series was held at the Tacoma RC Raceway in Tacoma, Washington last weekend. The event attracted over 150 entries and in the premier class of 2WD Mod Buggy it was TLR racer, Mikey Brown with the overall TQ. Mikey then went on to win A1 and A2 for an early overall victory while the fight for the remaining podium spots was on between Harley Yoshii, Roger Seim, Dalton Pierce and Jackson Andres. In the end it was Yokomo pilot Harley who would snatch the runner-up spot with 2-3-3 finishes as Roger Seim (Yokomo), despite winning A3, had to settle for 3rd overall. Dalton Pierce ended tie on points with Harley and Roger but only came in 4th overall as Jackson Andres completed the top 5 results.

Over in 4WD Mod Buggy it was Harley Yoshii with the overall TQ and also the win, however it didn’t come easy as Harley won A1 only to finish in 8th in A2. With a win in A3 he put things straight again to take the win from Jackson Andres (Yokomo) in 2nd and Mikey Brown in 3rd.

40+ 2WD Mod Buggy had TQ, Roger Seim taking wins in the opening two A-mains for the early overall victory from James Johnson in 2nd and Bob Murphy in 3rd. David McLean had to settle for 4th overall in the tie-breaker with Bob.

13.5T Stadium Truck saw Tyler Miller (Yokomo) walking away with the TQ and win from Devon Murphy (Yokomo) in 2nd. Andrew Beauchamp (Xray) came in 3rd to round out the podium result.
