Tyler Hooks doubles at RC Pro Series opener

The opening round of the RC Pro Series was held at Mike’s Gulf Coast RC Raceway in Porter, Texas this past weekend, drawing close to 260 entries. In Pro Nitro Buggy it was Brandon Rose with the overall TQ, however it was Tekno RC’s Tyler Hooks who came out on top in the 45-minute A-main event, leaving behind Xray’s Ethan Lefebvre in 2nd, a lap down. Another lap down it was Agama’s Jake French who would complete the top 3 while HB Racing’s Dillon Caldwell and Agama’s Robbie Darby rounded out the top 5. Top qualifier, Brandon Rose had to settle for 13th overall due to a DNF.

Pro E-Buggy had Dillon Caldwell taking the TQ honours but again it was Tyler Hooks who snatched the overall win with 1-3-1 finishes in the triple A-main events. Jake French came in 2nd overall finishing 2-1-5 while Ehtan Lefebvre came in 3rd with 6-2-3 finishes. Brian Henn and Cameron Breaux completed the top 5 results.
