Zalewski TQs & wins at XRS Poland Hot Race Series Rd1

Round 1 of the XRS Poland Hot Race Series was hosted by Latina RC Racing this past weekend. The race was held in several nitro and electric off-road classes and in 1/8th Nitro Buggy it was Bartosz Zalewski (Xray) with the overall TQ from Bartek Zambrzycki (Agama) on the 2 spot. The first race after lock down did not disappoint as the two Barteks put on a fantastic display of car control and speed as they battled through the 45-minute main final. A flame out at Zambrzycki’s final stop would mean that he would just miss out on the win on his debut in 1/8th racing, as Bartosz Zalewski took the winning honours from Zambrzycki in 2nd and Tomasz Gadnicki (Xray) in 3rd.

The finals in E-Buggy saw a balanced field and ultimately it was Bartosz Zalewski with the win in front of Iwo Czarnecki and Wojciech Rzepecki, making it an all-Xray top 3.

In Nitro Truggy Tomasz Gadnicki (Xray) was definitely the fastest but technical problems in last minute cost him the win. Ultimately Mateusz Dudzic (Mugen) won the main final from Rafał Iłendo (Mugen) in 2nd and Tomasz Gadnicki in 3rd.

E-Truggy was dominated by Maciej Boncławek with Łukasz Piecyk and Paweł Czarnecki coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Finally in the Open class it was Norbert Stołecki (Xray) with the win from Marcin Jakubowski (Serpent) in 2nd and Arkadiusz Liszewski in 3rd.
