Frehner & Sidler win at Swiss EP Off-road Nats Rd2

The EMBCM club of Horgen, Switzerland hosted round 2 of the Swiss 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals last weekend. The event kicked off with the 2WD Buggy class on Saturday with the race being held in challenging weather conditions. Fabian Luca Widmer snatched the TQ from young Kay Frehner (Team Associated), however the latter would take wins in A1 and A2 of the A-main to take the overall victory from Nico and Florian Schmid (both Xray) in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

On Sunday the weather proved to be a lot more stable and in the improving conditions it was Kay Frehner who build on Saturday’s momentum to take the TQ in the 4WD Buggy class. With wins in A1 and A2 he took another early overall victory while Nico and Florian Schmid came in 2nd and 3rd again.

The Stadium Truck class saw Stefan Sidler walking away with the double of overall TQ and win as Tyas Wuillemin and Tyas Wuillemin came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
