Ron DeVoll doubles at JBRL Electric Series Rd5

Round 5 of the JBRL Electric Series as held at Controlled Chaos Raceway in Palmdale, California this past Saturday. The event attracted over 160 entries and in 2WD Open Buggy it was Team Associated’s Ron DeVoll with the overall TQ and also the win in the single 6-minute A-main event. Ron’s Team Associated team mate, Davey Batta came in 2nd overall while Carlos Arredondo rounded out the top 3 result.

In 4WD Open Buggy it was again Ron DeVoll with the TQ and win as Davey Batta and Carlos Arredondo (Tekno RC) completed the top 3.

Matt Gonzales (Yokomo) would sweep the 13.5T Wheeler class, taking the TQ and a commanding win in the 6-minute A-main as Dro Mousheghian (Team Associated) and Aaron Williams (Xray) came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

2WD Expert 17.5T Buggy had Matt Gonzales taking another TQ, however he was not able to convert it into a win as Dro Mousheghian came out on top in front of Aaron Williams in 2nd. Matt had to settle for 3rd overall.
