Serpent SRX4 Gen3 4wd EP buggy

Serpent have introduced their all new SRX4 Gen3 4wd buggy. Developed alongside the company’s SRX2 Gen3, the new car shares over 50% of its parts with its 2wd counterpart meaning less spare parts need be carried by the racer. A belt driven car, it utilises a dual belt system which allows the motor to be mounted along the car’s centre line. The chassis is made from 7075-T6 aluminium, it’s narrower in design for better flex characteristics, while it also incorporates a new packaging concept for the front pivots and diff position, to give greater ground clearance. The steering system has also been updated to reduce maintenance time, increase drivability, reduce any unwanted bump steer, and create a smoother linear Ackerman curve.

There is a brand new, state of the art driveline configuration that is super easy to work on with easy access differentials at both the front and rear. The new layout can be made to have perfect left to right weight distribution with a variety of batteries which improves handling in every condition. Other changes include new front and rear suspension geometry and capped off with new look bodyshell.
