Mugen Seiki MBX8TR Truggy

Mugen Seiki has announced its new MBX8TR Nitro and Electric Truggy.  The MBX8TR has several new parts to increase stability, rear traction, improved jumping/landing, and to have more tuning options.  In the area of suspension,  new “C” and “D” suspension mounts now use square pills for increased tuning of toe-in and anti-squat. and geometry.  The front and rear arms use an impact resistant material for increased durability. Stiffer LW front and rear arms will be available as option parts for the MBX8TR. The rear uprights are also new for the MBX8TR. The molded uprights have CFRP plates to adjust the rear roll centre.  A new front shock tower and upper front arm mount uses new pivot inserts for increased tuneability.  The MBX8TR comes with a complete new 4 shoe clutch from Mugen Seiki.  This clutch was designed to be easy to work on and more tuneable than other 4 shoe clutches on the market and features a 34mm aluminium 4 shoe flywheel with removable steel pins.  It has a unique way of adjusting spring tension to tune the engagement to suit your engine, track conditions and personal preferences to optimise fuel consumption and performance.  The new vented 13T clutch bell, two carbon shoes, and two aluminium shoes are included in the MBX8TR kit.

High Traction Differentials are included in the MBX8TR.  The Mugen Seiki HTD provides increased acceleration, longer runtime, and more consistent handling. The HTD’s also increase stability, traction and improve handling in bumpy conditions.  The Truggy comes with new sun gears to improve internal mesh and diff action.  The MBX8TR comes with 10T bevel gear and 46T conical gears in the kit.

Other Features of the MBX8TR
– New Flash Point body lowers the centre of gravity, increases steering, improves jumping and landing.
-Lightweight high down-force wing allows more air to flow through the wing to improve jumping in windy conditions. The new wing is durable, lightweight and provides amazing stability and rear traction.
-Revised rear wing mount to provide additional downforce and increase durability.
Additional new parts and improvements for the MBX8TR:
-New rear shock springs (1.6mm/L86/9T).
-New shape and designed chassis.
-New S bent air filter boot and high-volume filter housing.
-Emulsion shock caps are included in the MBX8TR kit.
-New brake override and caliper springs for smoother more consistent braking.
-New sway bar collars to reduce sway bar movement.
-Aluminium wing buttons.
-Front and Rear LW arms as an option.
-Front and rear universal driveshafts as an option.

The MBX8TR Eco has many new parts to increase stability, rear traction, improved jumping, and have a wide tuning range. In addition to the key features of his nitro sibling, the MBX8TR Eco chassis features a slightly new design. New Battery mount for 4S shorty and standard batteries. You can install either short or standard size batteries using the new two-piece battery tray. The kit comes with 1 strap for 4S short battery(380mm) and 1 strap for 4S standard battery(455mm).  The MBX8TR Eco comes with new sun gears to improve internal mesh and diff action. The MBX8TR Eco comes with 10T bevel gears, 46T conical gears, and 46T molded spur gear in the kit.
