Hyro Inerter 1:10 Electric Touring Car – Prototype

Not a country known for its RC industry, new Romanian start-up Hyro has reached out to Red RC to share details of its project the Inerter 1:10 Electric Touring Car. Under the leadership of Vlad Chirovici, the unique car design is still in development with delivery targeted for next year. One of the key features of the car is the unique innovation Inerter damper, which is a Formula 1 inspired system that helps you have a car stiffer at high speed and softens on bumps. The multilink suspension comprises of very long suspension arms, and elastic bushings with their own dampening and calibration possibilities. Hyro say the shaft transmission promises to bring more advantages like low friction, low inertial momentum, positioning batteries closely to the centreline, small width. Another feature is the low mounted servo and motor mount for a better CG. Hyro are targeting a kit price of around €500.
