Hamon joins Capricorn for 1:8 Onroad | GT program

Capricorn has announced that top Australian nitro racer Jeff Hamon will be an official team driver for the 2026 season.  The 1:8 GT World Championship podium finisher and 1:8 Onroad Worlds Finalist will represent the Italian manufacturer in both categories, using the Quantum in 1:8 Onroad and LAB GT2 for GT.  Reacting to the announcement, Hamon said, ‘I am incredibly excited to join the Capricorn team!  For me, Capricorn has always been the Ferrari of RC racing.  The passion, engineering excellence, attention to detail and performance behind the brand are qualities I have admired since its very beginning.  It is truly special to now be part of such an iconic team.  I would like to sincerely thank Patrizio for the opportunity and trust to represent Capricorn on and off the track.  I’m looking forward to this exciting new chapter and to achieving great results together!’
