Racing Bull Mini28 1:28 Racing Kit

As the world of 1:28 racing continues to grow and attract more drivers around the world, a new contender has recently entered the market in the form of Slovenian manufacturer Racing Bull who have just introduced their Mini28.   The 2WD racing platform is developed and manufactured in Slovenia as a compact and lightweight racing chassis, with the focus on precise handling, direct driver feedback, simple construction, easy maintenance and an engaging driving experience.  Rather than following a conventional small-scale suspension layout, Racing Bull, which was set-up by Tadej & Kramelina Štrok, developed its own concept combining a rigid front-end, direct rear-wheel drive and the Racing Bull 3D Flex System.  One of the key features of the Mini28 is their own rear 3D Flex Pod System.  The Mini28 does not use conventional front suspension, instead the rigid front-end provides a direct and precise feel, while controlled chassis movement and compliance are managed through the rear 3D Flex System.  The system can be tuned using interchangeable softer or stiffer springs, allowing drivers to adjust the flex characteristics according to track conditions, grip level, tire choice and driving style. The concept allows the front of the chassis to remain simple, lightweight and rigid, while controlled movement is introduced through the rear flex system.  The 3D Flex System is one of the key innovations behind the Mini28 platform and continues to be developed and refined through testing.  Another important characteristic of the Mini28 is its direct rear-wheel-drive (RWD) system.  The direct-drive concept provides an immediate connection between throttle input and the rear wheels, giving the Mini28 a lively and responsive driving character.  The aim was not only to create a car capable of fast lap times, but also to make it genuinely interesting and rewarding to drive.  A fully equipped Mini28 weighs approximately 133 grams including electronics while overall chassis length is approximately 130 mm without the front bumper and 141 mm with the bumper installed.  Overall width is approximately 78 mm, depending on the selected wheel and tire combination.
