Yokomo MS2.1 Electric Touring Car

Having announced the pending release of its latest competitive spec 1:10 Electric Touring Car last month with a CAD image, Yokomo has released images of the new MS2.1 kit. The Japanese manufacturer has updated the front suspension geometry to deliver a more aggressive driving style leading to faster lap times. With the new car you can now select the front suspension lever ratio, allowing you to fine tune your setup for all track conditions and tyre selection. Shock components have also been meticulously refined to lower the centre of gravity, and the mounting angle has been adjusted to accommodate the longer front suspension arms, resulting in a perfectly balanced overall setup. The motor mount and layshaft have also been updated for better tollerences and prevent spur gear failures. The screws are also updated for the 1.5mm aluminium and 1.2 steel chassis, now featuring a 2mm hex head. The Steel chassis has also been updated to the next generation. The MS2.1 will be released simultaneously with graphite, aluminium, and steel chassis options, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your driving environment. A conversion kit will also be released for all the current MS2.0 users to bring your car up to the current spec.
